"Dog Therapy" Cures Finals Time Stress

Added on May 16, 2012 From ThinkTank

Dog therapy is spreading around the country: canine companions help students relieve stress and fight depression both during exam time and also in high stress environments like law school and med school. Well known dog-lovers Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola discuss the value of this new form of therapy on TYT University.

Would you have used "dog therapy" while in college? Do you think a connection with an animal could be helpful in students fighting with stress and depression? Let us know!

And if you liked this video, "like" it as well! :)

Jul 5, 2012 - LOL. Wow. just wow. You are like a hardcore troll. How the fuck did we get from "I wonder if this is a problem for people with dog allergies" to now I'm a republican, because why again? I'm considerate to minorities???? Dumbass.

aaronpolitical Says:

Jun 13, 2012 - I figured you out! You're a Republican politician! You project like one. And you see the small bad in a good program like one. Such a shame. No woman should be a Republican.

Rose K Says:

Jun 9, 2012 - Wow dude. You need help.

aaronpolitical Says:

Jun 6, 2012 - The distinction was not made "in favor" of those without allergies or "against" those with allergies. Allergies were not a consideration here. In all likelihood, dogs are the easiest and most universal choice, and they can't house all kinds of pets for these circumstances. It's not discriminatory and it's not practical to do as you suggest. Also, by the way, those with dog allergies also often have cat and other animal allergies. Now to your point of my treatment of her....

Jun 5, 2012 - my real need to say something was actually based on your hostal treatment of his innocent comment. you can argue about if it is realy discrimination, but you don't need to be so aggresive and insulting about it. please be nice :)

23borisrocks Says:

Jun 5, 2012 - it actually is; discrimination: treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit. the program doesn't help people with allergies, so a specific group cannot benifit. i like the program and i think it's a great idea, but they need to consider the difficulties of people who can't use the program or may have their allergies made worse by it.

Jun 5, 2012 - I realize you've vacated this argument, but you should consider one more thing. You accuse ME of being the one with a stick in my ass, when you are the one criticizing (with your question, sure sure you were just asking, whatever) this nice program just because some with allergies wouldn't be able to benefit. That looks like a big stick up YOUR ass to me, which is why I reacted to your question. Funny that you came to the conclusion that I was the one with the sticky ass.
