Train Your Dog To Stop Pulling

Added on Mar 25, 2016 From Doggie Dojo

In order to train your dog to walk nicely on a loose leash, you need to teach them to follow you and not to pull. This video has two games you can play with your dog to help them learn to walk with you on and off leash.

Every person and their dog have a unique relationship between each other. My hope is that I can help you discover the path to life with your dog! On Fridays Doggie Dojo will have dog training content that will help you focus on your goals with your dog, unite in understanding one another, and nourish your relationship to greater life together. Each video will have fun and inspiring content to help you train your dog. I also hope to find out more about you and your dog as the Doggie Dojo community grows to help us all have an amazing life with our canine companions.

Apr 4, 2016 - Hi Trevor, PetKeeping referred me over to you, saying that you needed a little support :-) I have a question for you... Does this mean that we should carry treats each time that we walk them, to avoid the pulling? I have a Maltese, and even though he's small, and listens very well to me, when we go outside, he gets so caught up in all of the smells, that he pulls in every direction. Mind you my dog is not fixed, due to he is full breed, and may be breed with a mate. So I know that this has a little something to do with it (dominance), but hoping your advice will help us, as I have a very bad back. Thank you.
